Employment Law

Our employment law attorneys are experienced in counseling clients on compliance with employment laws and regulations to prevent workplace problems and in providing litigation services to resolve existing disputes.

We have extensive experience defending employers in litigation in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings involving claims of discrimination on the basis of age, sex, race, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation and other protected characteristics, as well as claims of sexual and racial harassment and/or retaliation. We have also defended numerous whistle blower claims.

We draft employment documents of all types including personnel policies, employee handbooks, employee applications and affirmative action plans. We also negotiate and draft employment and consulting agreements, severance agreements, non-competition agreements and confidentiality agreements. NLdH is positioned to counsel your company with regard to employee retirement, deferred compensation and welfare benefit plans governed by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

This growing area of law is ever changing. We stay ahead of it. Please contact John Mullen in our Philadelphia office for more information.
