Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton Named a "Best Places to Work" by Philadelphia Business Journal

October, 2009, Blue Bell, PA - Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton (NLdH) has been selected as a finalist in the Philadelphia Business Journal's 2009 "Best Places to Work" program. The award recognizes the firm's achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of benefits, working conditions and company culture.

More than 270 companies submitted nominations to The Best Places to Work program which ranks the top employers in the Delaware Valley according to scores given to the companies by their own workers. Of the 59 winners, NLdH was one of only two law firms recognized.

"We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award," said firm Chairman Michael R. Nelson. "Our employees are truly our greatest asset and we recognize that our success and our clients' success is driven by their dedication. To receive this award which is based on their positive feedback is particularly significant," he said.

Common themes among those companies chosen as Best Places to Work winners were respect and caring for employees; work-life balance; recognition of accomplishments; good teamwork, and commitment to community.

"Early on, the firm developed a vision to be "the best at" representing insurers regarding their core business interests," added Nelson. "That vision to "be the best" extends to our management style as well. It's gratifying to know that we're doing a great job and we're inspired to continue to cultivate a firm culture that is open, innovate and distinctive among other law firms."
