Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton Announces New Shareholders

April 19, 2010, Blue Bell, PA - Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton (NLdH), a national law firm focused on the insurance industry, announced today that Partners Michael A. Hamilton and John F. Mullen have been made Shareholders in the firm.

Both attorneys joined the firm as partners in 2008. Mr. Hamilton chairs the firm's National Insurance Coverage practice group and focuses on complex coverage matters and class action litigation. Mr. Mullen chairs the firm's Complex Liability Practice Group, and concentrates on cyber-risk, construction and toxic tort/mass tort issues.

According to firm Chairman Michael R. Nelson, the promotions are indicative of each attorney's outstanding leadership capabilities and commitment to the firm. "In the two years they've been here, Mike and John have had a significant impact on the firm. Their vision is consistent with NLdH's mission," he said. A graduate of the Dickinson School of Law and Pennsylvania State University, Mr. Hamilton has extensive insurance coverage litigation experience representing national and international insurance carriers. As chair of the National Insurance Coverage Group, Mr. Hamilton has been quoted extensively in national publications on coverage matters that directly impact the entire insurance industry. A member of several prestigious professional associations, including the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), he has been involved in a number of high-profile cases, including the World Trade Center Property Insurance Litigation.

As Chair of the Complex Liability Practice Group, Mr. Mullen has 20 years of experience in complex insurance litigation. His cyber law practice encompasses network and data security risk, and he also represents insurers in matters pertaining to the defense of catastrophic property losses, construction, products liability, toxic torts professional litigation. Among his more high profile cases are two separate Tropicana Resort building collapses in New Jersey, and Central Parking garage collapse in Philadelphia. Mr. Mullen is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), board member of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, and is a graduate of Arizona State University College of Law, and the Pennsylvania State University.
