Blue Bell, PA, May 13, 2009 - With continued focus on expanding its national practice, insurance boutique Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton announced today the addition of four new attorneys: Georgia S. Foerstner has joined the firm as Partner and Ashley Lauren Farnschlader as an Associate in the firm's Cherry Hill, N.J. office; Elizabeth R. Dill is a new Associate in the firm's Blue Bell office; and William K. Broudy has joined the firm as a Senior Attorney in its New York office.
A former member of Cozen O'Connor, Ms. Foerstner focuses on complex insurance coverage, litigation and bad faith disputes. She handles various first and third party coverage disputes and the defense of first and third party insurance cases. She also represents the interests of surplus lines insurers throughout the United States. She is a graduate of Juniata College and received her J.D. from the Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Ms. Farnschlader focuses her practice on significant and catastrophic liability and large coverage cases, and is a certified mediator and a certified arbitrator in Philadelphia County. She graduated with honors from Moravian College and is a 2007 graduate of the Roger Williams University School of Law. Ms. Farnschlader is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Ms. Dill joins Nelson Levine's National Insurance Coverage group, and concentrates her practice in insurance coverage matters including analysis and litigation of property and liability claims, and the defense of bad faith suits. She is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and received her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2008. Ms. Dill is a member of the Montgomery Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Broudy joins the firm's New York Insurance Transactional and Regulatory Practice Group, where he concentrates on insurance regulatory and corporate matters. His experience includes years in private practice focusing on insurance, reinsurance, insurance regulatory matters, corporate law and commercial litigation. He has served as a Principal Law Clerk to Justice Irving Kirschenbaum of the New York Supreme Court, New York County. Immediately prior to joining Nelson Levine, he worked in the Business Law Department of Cozen O'Connor.
According to firm Chairman Mike Nelson, his firm remains on course in its five-year plan for aggressive growth, which began with the law firm's move to new offices in Blue Bell in January 2008. Since then, the firm has added 11 new attorneys firmwide, and is actively recruiting new lawyers to support its national practice.
