December 3, 2010, Blue Bell, PA – Kenneth T. Levine, a founding partner of Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton (NLdH), a national law firm focused on the insurance industry, was recently installed as President of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP). Comprised of insurance professionals, attorneys, forensic experts and service providers, NASP is the world’s largest insurance subrogation association and a leader in subrogation education.
Mr. Levine has been active in NASP since its founding in 1998, and previously served as Vice President/President-Elect, a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Treasurer and chair of its New Jersey Chapter and Website Committee. Through his involvement with NASP, as well as the broader subrogation industry, he has been instrumental in the opposition of anti-subrogation legislation proposed in jurisdictions around the country.
Mr. Levine concentrates his practice at NLdH on the prosecution of property-damage subrogation claims. He has tried dozens of subrogation cases, often securing multimillion-dollar recoveries for his insurance clients. A frequent lecturer, he has presented to numerous insurance industry groups on a broad range of topics pertaining to subrogation matters. Most recently, he led a session addressing “Extra-Contractual and Bad-Faith Claims Arising from Subrogation Efforts” at the 2010 NASP national conference. In addition, he has authored numerous articles and papers for insurance industry publications.
A graduate of George Washington University, Mr. Levine earned his J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. He is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
