Insurers Granted Temporary Reprieve From Payment of Stanford Legal Fees

We recently reported on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas' decision compelling insurers for five Stanford executives to pay defense costs incurred in defending lawsuits filed against the executives. On February 4, 2010, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued an Order staying the lower court's decision and granting an expedited appellate argument to be heard on February 25, 2010.
