Cathy Lazaroff held a variety of high-level marketing, claims and technology positions at Allstate Insurance Company during her 30-year tenure. While at Allstate, Ms. Lazaroff served as the Vice President of Marketing-Customer Experience, Claim Central Services, Claim Field Support and P&C Technology. In these roles, she was charged with improving current and future customer relationships; managing the performance of centralized claims operations; and oversight of major technology projects for the P&C business units. Early in her career with Allstate, she served in various capacities, including field claim management positions and Claim Attorney. Since retiring from Allstate in 2008, she has been involved in non-profit activities and has provided insurance-related consulting. Admitted to practice law in 1982 and 1978 she is a member of the New York and Michigan Bar Associations.
Heavily involved in the advancement of the insurance industry, Ms. Lazaroff has served on the Claim Boards or Claim Advisory Councils of the American Insurance Services Group; the New York Motor Vehicle Accident Indemnification Corporation; the Insurance Research Council; the Insurance Services Organization; the National Insurance Crime Bureau; and the National Association of Independent Insurers (now known as PCI).
Ms. Lazaroff has devoted a significant amount of time to charitable organizations devoted to the advancement and advocacy of women and children. She has served as a mentor to women in business through her involvement in Women Unlimited and Menttium. For six years, Ms. Lazaroff served as a member of the Board of Directors of A Safe Place, a shelter for battered women and children. Since 1998, she has served on the Board of The Boys and Girls Club of Logan Square and more recently, the Board of The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago.
