Kymberly Kochis practices in the areas of insurance and reinsurance litigation, regulation and in all aspects of corporate governance, including complex internal investigations. She has experience in a variety of litigation matters before state and federal courts and governmental agencies. Ms. Kochis has also been involved in the defense of class actions involving antitrust, ERISA, market conduct, securities and policy coverage issues.
Ms. Kochis spent most of 2004 on secondment with a leading Lloyd's of London syndicate. Ms. Kochis worked on all of the syndicate's major U.S. claims, including D&O, professional liability, property and marine claims, and managed all aspects of the claims process, including claim investigations, litigation and settlement. In addition, Ms. Kochis provided U.S. compliance and regulatory advice, including responding to all U.S. department insurance inquiries. Ms. Kochis also worked with the syndicate's underwriters to develop new U.S. policy wordings.
