Patrick C. Timoney focuses his practice on insurance recovery litigation, with an emphasis on the litigation of workers' compensation subrogation matters throughout the United States. He assists clients in recovering workers' compensation benefits paid by identifying third party recovery opportunities, by pursuing third party claims, and by intervening in pending personal injury claims. He has also been retained by clients to provide legal opinions concerning workers' compensation subrogation issues, to conduct file audits, and to provide advice to help clients improve their workers' compensation recovery results.
Formerly, Mr. Timoney practiced in civil litigation with a focus on personal injury litigation, in which he represented both plaintiffs and defendants. With his expertise in the area of workers' compensation subrogation, Mr. Timoney frequently speaks on this topic to clients and trade groups across the country. In addition, he regularly contributes articles discussing workers' compensation subrogation issues to national insurance industry periodicals.
