Michael S. Munger primarily practices in matters of complex medical malpractice insurance litigation defense as well as matters of large loss property recovery.  Mr. Munger defends physicians, medical practices, and hospitals against complex malpractice and general liability claims. Mr. Munger's responsibilities include advising risk managers and corporate officers regarding various aspects of health care liability coverage. He also maintains an extensive practice involving matters of property subrogation. Mr. Munger has extensive experience in the courtroom and has tried more than 75 jury and non-jury matters to verdict.

While in law school, Mr. Munger was awarded the American Juris Prudence award for professional responsibility/ethics and served as a liaison in the Advanced Trial Advocacy Program for two years. Immediately following law school he worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, where he prosecuted a diverse range of criminal cases.

Mr. Munger is a frequent lecturer on these topics to clients, insurance trade groups, and both local and national organizations. He has been an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, volunteering in the association's Child Advocacy Program and serving as past chair of various association committees.
