Erika C. Aljens is a member of the National Insurance Coverage Group and concentrates her law practice on insurance coverage litigation primarily representing carriers in defending and prosecuting declaratory judgment actions in multiple jurisdictions. Prior to joining the Blue Bell office of NLdH, Ms. Aljens practiced in New York City where she acted as litigation coverage counsel in-house for a large insurance firm. She has experience in many different types of litigation, including significant coverage experience in addition to complex construction and environmental matters. Ms. Aljens also has significant trial and appellate experience in both state and federal courts and has over thirty published decisions including decisions from the highest court in New York.
