Emmett McGowan is an associate with the Institutional Litigation Group and focuses his practice on insurance and commercial litigation.  He has handled matters on behalf of clients in the areas of bad faith litigation, breach of fiduciary duties and coverage issues.  He served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. John T.J. Kelly of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania where he handled legal research of complex and novel issues raised on appeal. 

Mr. McGowan volunteers for the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Program. He is a graduate of the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2008 and The Catholic University of America in 2005 where he majored in economics and finance.
